If you want to buy and use the full version of Visual Extend or if you want to update an older version of Visual Extend to the new version you have to install the trial version first in all cases. Otherwise we can not provide you an activation key....
For the VFX menu (contained in Vfxmnu.app) a link is created on the desktop. When opening Visual Extend the registration wizard shows up. Please use the registration form to download a 30 days free trial key for testing all features of Visual Extend. If there are problems with a firewall or there is no Internet connection available on the local machine you can use the "Free Trial Key" option below to request an activation key.

Gladly will we send you a free trial key for any available version of Visual
Extend to your eMail address as provided! We do not need any additional
information except for your eMail address and your self-chosen password. But
beforehand please try our registration wizards which shows up when you start the
trial version first time. It will pick up a trial key via Internet connection
reducing the problem that our email with the activation key gets lost in a
spamfilter.

If you have installed the trial version of Visual Extend succesfully, we will

your full version and after payment confirmation your will receive the
permanent activation key. Afterwards use the update function in the VFX menu to update to
the full version including source code.

maintenance. This is extended for another 12 months every year at a reduced rate
if you do not cancel your subscription. If you want to cancel the subscription
please send us an email but keep in mind that you can not renew the subscription
afterwards but have to buy a full version again.
I need a replacement key for my current licence because of reinstallation
In case of reinstallation of your computer and/or reinstallation of Visual
Extend you can order a new replacement key here. If you work on more than one
computer you can also use this function to get an activation key for your second
machine (but only for the same user!).

If your postal address or other information has changed, please update your
registration record here.
VFX 9.5 always updates to a newer build of VFX 9.5, but never to the new version VFX 10.0. If you want to update to VFX10.0 you have to install the trial version first and then update to the full version including source code, see above.
If you had a valid licence at the date VFX 10.0 was published your registration record was automatically taken over to our new registration database. Please use the same email and password as for VFX9.5 to register VFX10.0. Afterwards use the update function to update to the full version including source code without having to contact us.
VFX 9.5 and VFX 10.0 can be installed and be used on the same machine. The same is true for all older versions of Visual Extend.
Please visit our Registration Website for older versions of Visual Extend and select the option there. This function is available for users of older versions that need replacement keys in case of hardware changes.
